Hi everyone,

Karl has taken the beans out to pick up dinner so I thought I'd send out a quick note and naturally send along some photos.

The girls are continuing to change and grow and delight us each and every day :-)

Tori has become a school favourite amongst the teachers and various class room and Allie's teacher told me that the other teachers will request a visit from Tori. She happily obliges and apparently has everyone charmed :) And to think I was so worried about leaving her!!  She is following in her sisters footsteps and is creating lots of wonderful art pieces that we proudly display on our fridge. Currently she is working on 5 teeth. For the most part she is taking it all in stride and really doesn't complain all that much.

Allie is such a little girl these days. Her hair is getting so long and she insists on picking out her shoes and clothing in the morning. Most days i'm pleased with what she picks lol, I've joked that I'm going to give away anything i don't like so I won't have to worry what she pics out ;)

In the mornings I wake Allie up and then we both wake Tori up. It's one of my favourite parts of the day. Allie is so pleased to be able to do this, she opens Tori's door and then says wake-up Tori it's morning. Tori then stands up and hold open her arms for a quick cuuddle before she is off playing with her big sister.  We are in the midst of all our baby friends birthdays so birthdays are a big thing around here. Allie has decided that she would like a My Little Pony party and has even described her cake, it will be chocolate (no more banana for her) with pink icing a castle, lots of ponies, a rainbow and doors that open and shut. Vik assures me she can make this a reality :)

It sounds like they are home now so I'll sign off here.

Attached are some recent photos of the beans. These photos were taken from the past few weeks.

You'll see Tori trying peanut butter for the first time (it was a huge hit) You'll also see pics of Allie sharing a lolipop were her sister. I've included 3or 5 pics from that day.. The first one was taken when I tried to get a cute sister shot, but tori's face made me think something was up so I walked away(I was attempting to catch them in the act so to speak and they didn't disappoint lol) I discovered that Allie was sharing her lolipop with her sister (I appreciated that she wanted to share but I had to talk to her about not sharing her special treats with her sister) and the next pic shows their expressions when they were caught!

 

There are also some pics from Donna's birthday bbq. I was sitting with Liam who wanted to see my camera so we took a few self portraits lol. One of them isn't that great of Liam and I but Charlie looked great in the background so I kept it in.

 

There are also a lot of craft time and Tori looking way too grownup!

 

The photos from the slide are when I captured the beans expressions after Allie got into a little trouble for pushing Tori out of the way. I was attempting a sister photo again and happened to snap the photo just after the push.

 

I still have to figure out how to input comments after each photo, so for now i'll keep sending longer notes with the pics.

If you had asked me last week how our weekend was going to turn out, I
would have said busy but fun! We were planning on going to Becca's
Wiggles themed 3rd birthday on Saturday and Grammie Donna's birthday
brunch here on Sunday. Due to illness, we had to cancel both :(

On Thursday we found out that Allie was exposed to Hand, Foot and
Mouth disease and we were on the lookout for any symptoms. On Friday
Tori's school called and wanted us to come pick her up since she had a
fever. It's Sunday afternoon and we still haven't gotten over her
fever :( Luckily she seems to be able to keep a little bit of food
down.

The plus to having sick beans is you get lots of cuddles, I can't
remember Tori being this cuddly since she was a new born :)

Hi everyone

I wanted send a quick update and also let you know about something neat I am considering using to keep you all up to date with life with the beans :)

Both Allie and Tori have full time spots at school now. It’s bittersweet for me but I know they are well cared for and they already have their favourite teachers, which makes me feel ok with them being there. This morning Allie woke up on her own, and found me in the bathroom getting ready, she said” Mom do I have school today?” and I said “ yes you do, if you take your pj’s off I’ll help you get dressed” I walked into her room and found her back in her bed with the sheets pulled over her head lol. I think I had a glimpse to our teenage years.

Tori is really quite happy when we go and get her in the morning. Thankfully she really is so content and a go with the flow kind of bean. I’m not sure how happy I’d be if I was woken up by my older sister running into my room screaming “Wake up tori, wake up Tori, it’s time to get up, the sun is up” lol Allie is convinced that she needs to be awake whenever the sun is shining!

I hope to have some cute photos tomorrow of the beans, it’s ice cream Cone day at school! Let’s just say my love of ice cream has been passed onto Allie :)

Hi everyone

I am sending you this link to test a new way to share videos and photos of our adventures with the beans.

They have had an exciting few weeks of summer camp (that is what the school is calling July and August). They had an Hawaiian day, a costume day (I don't have a photo of Tori as she had a slight accident in her tinkerbell costume and the school had to fill out an accident report :( but she is fine!)

Today was water play day and apparently Tori had a great time, so much so that they had a hard time bringing her back inside for lunch and if you know toto she loves to eat lol

There are also a couple of pics of the beans eating corn, I bought some corn from the farmers market downtown and let's just say Karl almost didn't get any as the beans devoured it!!

The most exciting thing that happened this weekend was that Allie learned to ride a bike!!! Poor toto missed it all, as you will see in the photos, school is tiring her out and she falls asleep in the funniest places :)

The sweetest pics are from our car ride home from Kingston where Allie asked for Tori's hand and she reached it out, they hld hands and sang all the way home! The last photos are on their way too school, it's early for them but for the most part they are happy to go to school!
